The Thermo SlideMate AS slide printer reduces specimen identification errors and improves productivity. Above all, it enhances lean workflow through unique features designed specifically for on-demand printing. This model is the next-generation printer that promotes single-piece workflow. In addition to improved efficiency, it is highly reliable, simple and easy to operate, and has a smaller footprint than previous models. Therefore reducing crowding near the microtome.

Flexible data input methods on the Thermo SlideMate AS slide printer make for easy integration into the laboratory. This reliable slide printer prints directly onto the slide, which eliminates the need for labels or handwriting. Chemical resistant media ensures print reliability. Slides are held inside the unit’s side door to protect them from dust and the environment.

The Thermo SlideMate AS slide printer has an innovative collection tray that operates on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis. Therefore, it allows you to easily scan barcodes and immediately print slides for a single case. In addition to barcoding, the printer produces excellent high-quality text. Similarly, the SlideMate AS prints numbers and linear as well as 2-D bar codes. Moreover, it also conveniently connects to most lab’s LIS.
