In parallel with the recent advancement of the new Science Center at Georgetown University, the Donoghue Laboratory recently placed their order for a Leica CM1900 Cryostat with Rankin Biomedical Corporation. Scheduled for a mid-August 2012 shipment, this unit is expected to significantly improve and streamline the efforts currently in place within Professor Maria Donoghue’s lab. Rankin Biomedical sends hearty congratulations to Professor Donoghue for her recent receipt of the Edward B. Bunn Award for Faculty Excellence in recognition of her outstanding contributions to Georgetown University during the 2011-2012 academic year.
