To initiate a service call, choose one of the following:
1.) Fill out the online form
2.) Call (248) 625-4104 option 2
3.) Email service@rankinbiomed.com

Step 1 Refer to your operator manual. Many issues can be resolved by taking this step.

Step 2 If you are still in need of help, you can initiate a service call by one of the methods mentioned above. Be ready to provide your make, model, Rankin ID (if applicable, error code(s), and describe what is happening with the instrument.

Regardless of which method you prefer (online form, phone, email), a customer support representative will assign you to a biomedical technician who will determine the most expeditious approach to repair your instrument.

Step 3 Your assigned technician will endeavor to resolve the issue through phone or email support to save time and money for your lab. If this does not work, we will move to the next step.

Step 4 A trip to your lab will be scheduled where a technician will perform onsite service.

Step 5 In certain cases, it may be necessary for Rankin to pick up the instrument and bring it back to our facility (depot repair). This is typically necessary when a repair involves extraordinary troubleshooting, specialized tools, or refrigeration work. We will arrange for the pick-up and delivery.

Ultimately, your equipment will be repaired to operating condition in the most economical and expeditious fashion, and full documentation will be provided to satisfy lab inspections.
