Rankin doesn’t fool around with service. We use a reasonable step-by-step process to help save our customers and Rankin time and money.
Step 1 Refer to your Operator Manual to be sure you understand the operation of the instrument correctly. Many issues can be resolved by taking this step.
Step 2 If still in need of help, fill out the online Technical Service form below for the fastest service. If you prefer phone support, call our Service office at 248 625-4104 ext 2. For email support, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Be ready to provide the Rankin ID number, error code(s), and describe what is happening with the instrument.
Regardless of which way you contact us (online form, phone, email), a customer support representative will assign you to a biomedical technician who will determine the most expeditious approach to repair your instrument.
Step 3 Your assigned technician will endeavor to resolve the issue through phone or email support to save time and money for both parties. If this does not work we will move to the next option.
Step 4 A trip to your lab will be scheduled where a technician will perform the service onsite.
Step 5 In certain cases it may be necessary for Rankin to pick up the instrument and bring it back to our facility to do what we call, depot repair. This option is used when repair involves extreme troubleshooting, specialized tools, or refrigeration. Rankin arranges for pick-up and delivery.
Ultimately, your equipment will be repaired to its intended operating condition in the most economical and expeditious fashion, and full documentation will be provided to satisfy lab inspections.
