WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

We don’t mess around when it comes to cryostat refurbishment. If you’ve purchased a cryostat from Rankin before, you know that you may have paid a bit more with us than other refurbished instrument suppliers. This is because we put more into our cryostats to ensure that every machine is operating at like-new condition, per OEM specifications, before leaving our facility. We have a refrigeration expert on our biomedical team, who is dedicated to refrigeration on cryostat refurbishment.

The refrigeration system is the most common system to fail on a cryostat. We’ve resurrected countless cryostats over the years, resetting their lifespan with all new refrigeration.

PERFECT SECTIONS

Every cryostat is tested at 3μ, 5μ, and 10μm, and must pass with <0.15μ margin of error per turn, even more strict that the OEM protocol during manufacturing.
